Our Team
Tuney was founded to make music more accessible to millions of creators, professionals and artists who work with music.
The founding team consists of Grammy and Emmy-nominated composer Filip Mitrovic, data scientist Maciej Kurek, PhD, and music entrepreneur Antony Demekhin. While running a successful music production company in LA, Filip and Antony saw an opportunity to develop tools that solve common challenges for creatives working with music. They teamed up with Maciej, who had previously developed complex AI systems for finance and cybersecurity startups in the UK, and together they built Tuney’s innovative music algorithm.
Tuney is headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Warsaw.

Tuney’s methodology is unique in the generative music space. Our algorithm uses artist-created sounds to generate new music, and understands the complex musical relationships between different elements of music. Our model only uses music data we produced in-house, and doesn’t infringe on any copyrighted artist works. Because we do not train on copyrighted music to generate outputs and because there is a human author behind every sound we use, Tuney’s generative output receives full copyright protection which we license to our users and customers.
